Why drills

Private equity interviews don’t test what you know. They test what you can do, on a clock, with someone watching. The paper LBO, the modeling test, the rapid-fire technical round — every one of them is a performance under pressure, and performances are built with rehearsal.

Most prep material gets this backwards. It explains concepts beautifully and then leaves you alone with a blank page and a ticking timer. Analyst Drills exists to close that gap: every product we make is a timed exercise in the exact format the interview uses, paired with a diagnostic answer key that tells you precisely where you lost points.

How we build

Three principles govern everything we publish:

1. Timed, always. If there’s no clock, it’s not interview prep. Every drill ships with the time limit the real format imposes.
2. Diagnostic answer keys. A worked solution tells you the right answer; a diagnostic key tells you which of your answers were wrong and why. That’s the part that makes you better.
3. Honest pricing. The core drill is free. The paid packs cost less than an hour of interview coaching, because reps should be cheap and abundant.

Why we’re anonymous

We publish anonymously by design. Interview prep should be judged on whether it makes you sharper — not on whose name is on it, which firm they worked at, or how impressive their bio reads. No guru branding, no placement claims, no rented credibility. The drills either work or they don’t, and the free one lets you decide before spending anything.
